Allt y Bela is one of only a few remaining medieval properties in Wales that has been lovingly restored into a 21st century dwelling. With its steeply pitches roofs, mullioned windows and unusual three-story tower Allt y Bella (which translates as "the wooded hillside of the wolf")is the creation of an Elizabethan merchant, who built the tower on to an earlier cruck-framed stone house. It was a tenanted farm house for centuries before it was rescued form rack and ruin by The Spitalfields Trust. It was completely restored in 2003 into a 21st century home and is now regarded as one of most beautiful properties within the Usk Valley. Allt y Bella offers 5 double bedrooms all with en suit bathrooms and retains all its medieval character. Step back in time and enjoy history at its very best!
